Royal Ambassadors from Ebenezer Baptist Church, Florence, represented Royal Ambassadors across the state as South Carolina Baptists celebrated 100 years of the organization’s ministry.

During the 2007-08 church year, RAs will celebrate 100 years in training Southern Baptist young men for missions and equipping future denominational leaders.

During the annual meeting of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, Ebenezer’s RA chapter was recognized, along with three individuals who were presented the International Legion of Honor Award. Recognized for their years of service to RAs were Bill Montegue of Eau Claire Baptist Church, Columbia; Mickey Hyman of First Baptist Church, Myrtle Beach; and Cliff Satterwhite, RA director for the SCBC.
