Gerald Wood Crawford, 75, of Laurens, a retired pastor, died Nov. 23, 2007.

?Born Jan. 30, 1932, in Greenwood County, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Crawford served as pastor and interim pastor at several Baptist churches in the area. He retired from Laurens School District 55 after 33 years of service and was a member of the Hickory Tavern Lions Club and a member of Henderson Baptist Church.

?Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Dorothy “Dot” Tumblin Crawford, two children and two granddaughters.
