Bratton retires from ‘Radio Bible Hour’

Jack Bratton, who formerly served as a pastor in South Carolina, has retired after 10 years as radio program director for “The Radio Bible Hour,” based in Newport, Tenn.

“The Radio Bible Hour” was founded by J. Harold Smith in 1935 and is the oldest daily religious program in the world.

Bratton’s previous South Carolina pastorates include Covenant Church in Union and Skull Shoals and Victory churches in Gaffney.

Bratton plans to remain active by serving churches in an interim capacity and by being available for pulpit supply. He and his wife, Rachel, will live in Gaffney.
