NGU student missionaries headed across globe this summer

Mission teams from North Greenville University will serve in more than 22 countries and seven states this summer.

The school has 10 teams heading to Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, New York, Nicaragua, North Africa/Middle East, South Asia, Uganda and West Virginia. Other students will be serving in different parts of the world in a variety of ministries, such as short- and long-term missionaries and youth mission-trip planners, as well as in nursing homes, summer camps and churches across North America.

“God continues to call out laborers from this generation of university students in a way that is both exciting and humbling,” said Allen McWhite, director of NGU’s Center for Cross-Cultural Engagement and Global Leadership. “Students are willing to put their comfort and even their lives on the line for the sake of sharing the love of Jesus in some of the world’s most difficult and remote places.”

“We need to pray for these students as they say yes to God’s call to take the gospel to the nations,” McWhite said.
