SBC’s Frank Page to serve as Simpsonville interim pastor

Frank Page, president and CEO of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee, will begin serving as interim pastor of Simpsonville First Baptist Church on July 27.

Page is a former SBC president and served as pastor of Taylors First Baptist Church from 2001-2009. He most recently served as interim pastor at North Augusta First Baptist Church.

He holds Ph.D. and M.Div. degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has also served as a seminary professor, Bible reference writer, and international speaker.

Page and his wife, Dayle, have served together in pastoral ministry for more than 35 years. They have three daughters, one of whom has preceded them to heaven, and four grandsons.

Former Simpsonville First Baptist pastor Randy Harling will become president of Connie Maxwell Children’s Home in September.
