Nathan Sweet earns Ph.D. from SEBTS
Nathan Sweet, a Greer native who later lived in Lugoff, recently received his Ph.D. in Christian leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Sweet is student pastor at Wake Cross Roads Church in Raleigh, N.C. His father, Greg Sweet, is pastor of Spear’s Creek Baptist Church in Elgin.

Cullum has been senior pastor at the church for 23 years and has served 38 years in the ministry. He previously served churches in Holly Hill and Lexington. The Cullums plan to live in Myrtle Beach.
