Anderson University to offer Logos training for pastors

Pastors and others who want to learn more about how to use Logos software for Bible study and sermon preparation are invited to attend a half-day workshop May 8 at Anderson University.

The workshop will include sessions for both beginners and those who already use Logos but want more in-depth instruction in using it for biblical exegesis.

A representative from Logos will lead a session for pastors and leaders who don’t have the software but want to learn about it. Also, Kristopher Barnett, associate dean of AU’s Clamp Graduate School of Christian Ministry, will teach the session for advanced Logos users.

The workshop, to be held at the Watkins Teaching Center, begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m. The $10 registration fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

To register, call 864-328-1809, or mail a check to: Logos Workshop, College of Christian Studies, 316 Boulevard, Anderson, S.C., 29621.

The workshop is a partnership between Anderson University, Beaverdam Baptist Association, Saluda Baptist Association, Spartanburg County Baptist Network and The Baptist Courier.
