Bobby Jones, pastor of Rocky River Baptist Church, Iva, celebrated 50 years of ministry on Dec. 13. He was ordained Dec. 13, 1964, by Friendship Baptist Church, Abbeville, and the late Bill Ellison served as moderator of the ordination council. During his ministry, Jones has held nine pastorates at churches in South Carolina. He and his wife, Grace, reside in Calhoun Falls. They have four children, 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
