Greenville pastor to head SCBC evangelism, missions

MARSHALL FAGG began duties Oct. 1 as team leader of the evangelism and missions team for the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The evangelism and missions team includes missions mobilization, personal evangelism, prayer and spiritual awakening, and the church multiplication groups.

A graduate of Clemson University and Southeastern Baptist Seminary, he previously was pastor of Forestville Baptist Church, Greenville. He has served in various capacities throughout the convention, including the Executive Board Order of Business Committee.

“The heartbeat of churches all across South Carolina is evangelism and missions is. It has been my heartbeat as a pastor for the past 20 years,” said Fagg.

He and his wife Patti have two children: Jami, 25, and Ashley, 23.
