North Greenville University received approval as a level III master’s degree granting institution during the annual meeting of the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Dec. 4-6 in Atlanta, Ga.
“This approval recognizes the hard work of our faculty and staff and allows us to realize a dream we have shared for two and a half years,” said Samuel Isgett, executive director and dean for graduate studies. “We are now ready to move forward in offering the next level of Christ-centered higher education.”
Master of Christian ministry classes in the T. Walter Brashier Graduate School will begin in February 2006 at Fairview Baptist Church, Greer.
“We thank our faculty and staff for a job well done in obtaining level III. Also, we are tremendously indebted to Dr. Brashier, whose gift made the graduate school possible,” said NGU president Jimmy Epting.
The university plans to begin MBA classes in late summer 2006. Call (864) 877-3052 for information.
