First Baptist Church, North Augusta, will sponsor a conference March 31-April 1 to help both those who are facing the prospect of caring for an aging adult as well as current senior adult care providers and receivers.
The conference, entitled “Caring for Aging Loved Ones,” is based on the Focus on the Family book, “Complete Guide to Caring for Aging Loved Ones,” and features two keynote addresses by Jane Terry, former director of Focus on the Family’s Over Fifty ministry. Terry and area care professionals will lead breakout sessions on family dynamics; financial and legal decisions; physical, mental and emotional challenges; and living environments, such as independent and assisted living.
