Barry CrockerBARRY CROCKER began duties as senior pastor of Langston Baptist Church, Conway, Feb. 19. A native of New York, Crocker is a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, Rochester, N.Y.; and Southeastern and Covington seminaries. He was previously pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church in Dalton, Ga. Crocker and his wife Denise have two children, Jenelle and Andrew. An installation service held March 5 was led by Crocker’s brother, Rick Crocker, who serves as pastor in Erie, Pa.
Joe ProctorJOE PROCTOR has been called as pastor of Hebron Baptist Church, Scranton. Previously, he was pastor of Centenary Baptist Church for more than seven years. A graduate of Andersonville Baptist Seminary, he has attended Anderson University, the University of High Point, and Trinity College and Seminary. He and his wife Linda have a daughter, Kaylen, and a son, Allen. Henry Simmons, director of missions for Florence Baptist Association, conducted the installation service.
DAN GARNER was called Feb. 12 as minister of music and youth by Rabun Creek Baptist Church, Gray Court. A graduate of North Greenville University, he previously served at Parkwood Baptist Church in Annandale, Va. He and his wife Dyan will live in Greenville while she attends North Greenville University.
Eddie McClainEDDIE McCLAIN began work Jan. 29 as youth/children’s minister at First Baptist Church, Westminster. Previously, he served at Forest Hill Baptist Church, Anderson. A graduate of Anderson University and New Orleans Baptist Seminary, he and his wife, the former Melissa Foster, have a son, Cameron, 17 months.
Eddie AllgoodEDDIE ALGOOD has begun duties as minister of music at First Baptist Church, Westminster. He previously served Reedy Fork Baptist Church, Seneca. A senior at Southern Wesleyan University, he and his wife Debbie have two children, Jenny Craine and Katie Allgood, and two grandchildren.
PHILLIP McMINN, former pastor of Brookwood Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, Ga., for more than 13 years, began duties Jan. 8 as pastor of South Main Street Baptist Church, Greenwood. McMinn, who holds doctorates from Southwestern Baptist Seminary, has served on the Executive Committee of the Georgia Baptist Convention.
CATHY JO WARD began duties Feb. 8 as minister of music and youth at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Cordova. She is a graduate of Charleston Southern University.
