
Gladys Clamp, 93 years old, was saved and presented herself to the church for baptism at Westerly Hills Baptist Church, Fort Mill. She became the oldest person Westerly Hills has ever baptized.

More than 1,000 people attended the Judgment House Feb. 10-12 at Ridgeland Baptist Church, Savannah River Association. Two hundred volunteers participated in making the production, “Reality on the Highway,” a huge success.

Twenty 1st graders received Bibles during a recent morning worship service at Whitefield Baptist Church, Belton. “This has become an annual event for our children,” said Pam Jordan, director of children’s ministries. “Now that reading is becoming an obtainable goal for these children, we want to encourage them, even at this young age, to read God’s word.” Holman Children’s Bibles were presented to each child by Tony Beam, interim pastor. Special music was provided by Regina Smith and Michael Gowan.
