Brotherhood Builders need volunteers

“We are in desperate need of manpower for our projects,” said Bob Salley in announcing the 2006 projects for Brotherhood Builders.

Salley, construction coordinator for the group, said that all but one of the six projects will begin the first week of June, with a final one beginning the first week of July.

Church projects are planned at Roper Mountain Baptist in Greenville, Bold Spring Baptist in Bradley, Carolina Cornerstone Baptist in Fort Mill, Double Pond Baptist in Blackville, and Calvary Baptist in Clinton.

The list of projects includes work on the apartment complex and a laundry facility at North Greenville University.

“All of these projects have teams that will do most of the initial framing,” said Salley, “but none of them have a second team. All will need electricians, plumbers, sheetrock installers and finishers, as well as all other skills needed to finish a building.”

Salley may be contacted at (803)258-3485 during the day Monday through Friday, or (803) 258-3186 evenings and weekends.
