Tim HowardTIM HOWARD has begun duties as minister of spiritual growth and senior adults at Covenant Baptist Church, Lancaster. For the past six years, he has served the church as minister of youth. He is a graduate of UNC-Wilmington and Southeastern Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Diane have two children, Joshua and Kristian.
Robbie ForemanROBBIE FOREMAN has been called as minister of students and recreation by Covenant Baptist Church, Lancaster. He is a native of Bennettsville and a graduate of North Greenville University. Previously, he was student ministry worship leader at First Baptist Church, Taylors. He also has served as minister of youth at West Gantt First Baptist Church, Greenville. His wife Allison is a native of Dillon.
Stephanie WilliamsSTEPHANIE WILLIAMS is serving as children’s ministry director at Covenant Baptist Church, Lancaster. A graduate of UNC, she previously served at West Monroe Baptist Church, Monroe, N.C. She and her husband Galen have two sons, Turner and Frazier.
Jeffrey GaskinsJEFFREY GASKINS will begin duties Aug. 6 as pastor of North Conway Baptist Church, Conway. A native of North Carolina, he is a graduate of Mid-America Baptist Seminary, where he was an adjunct professor for two years. He has served as pastor in Missouri, North Carolina, and Florida. He and his wife Gwen, a native of Georgetown, have four children: Grace, Ruth, Henry and Abigail.
NORMAN PHILBECK has retired from the pulpit of Broad River Baptist Church, Blacksburg, where he has served for 11 years. During his 38 years in pastoral ministry, he has served several South Carolina Baptist churches, including Converse, Converse; and Grace and South Florence, Florence. He also served churches in North Carolina. Philbeck and his wife will live in Cowpens.
Charlie WallaceCHARLIE WALLACE has joined the staff at Crosswell Baptist Church, Sumter, as associate pastor of leadership development and children’s ministries. A graduate of USC and Southeastern Baptist Seminary, Wallace was licensed in 2004 by Shandon Baptist Church, Columbia, and was recently ordained by Crosswell. He and his wife, Emily Easterlin Wallace, also a graduate of USC and Southeastern, are expecting their first child in September.
SID FARMER began duties May 1 as youth pastor at State Line Baptist Church, Gaffney. He previously served as youth pastor at Northwood Baptist Church, Greer. He is a graduate of Charleston Southern University and has been ministering to students for the past 15 years in South Carolina Baptist churches, including Park Hills, Spartanburg; Macedonia, Gaffney; and Oakwood, Lexington. He is married to the former Rachel Petty of Gaffney.
Donnie StarnesDONNIE STARNES JR. was called April 23 as pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lancaster, where he served as interim. He has been a youth minister in several South Carolina churches. Starnes has one son, Will.
