Steve ScudderSteve Scudder is the new director of missions for Savannah River Baptist Association. He began duties June 1.
Prior to coming to Savannah River Association, Scudder served in the missions mobilization group of the South Carolina Baptist Convention from 1997-2006.
Scudder and his wife Karen were appointed missionaries with the former Home Mission Board, serving in Salt Lake City, Utah, from 1990-1997. He has also served as pastor, associate pastor and interim pastor of churches in Ohio, Kentucky, Utah and South Carolina.
A native of Ohio, he is a graduate of Cumberland College and Southern Baptist Seminary. He and his wife have two sons, Ben and Joel.
