The Grammy-nominated Christian worship band SONICFLOOd will kick off a special concert tour called “This Generation – Declaring God’s Glory To Every Nation” at Charleston Southern University on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m.

“SONICFLOOd”

The Dove Award-winning band will perform such classics as “Open the Eyes of My Heart, Lord” and “I Want to Know You,” as well as new hits like “Cry Holy” and “Everlasting.” (Watch the “Everlasting” video.)

Partnering with the International Mission Board, the band’s tour schedule includes 56 venues in 23 states and Canada and focuses on mobilizing high school and college students for missions service. In addition to a complete multimedia production, the concert will feature testimonies of student missionaries and live Internet links with missionaries around the world.

“One thing that is so clear about this generation of students is that they don’t want to simply study and talk about what God is doing in our world today; they want to get involved,” said Clark Carter, Charleston Southern campus minister.?”My prayer is that this event will begin a fresh new missions movement among all of our students.”

The concert is presented in conjunction with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the International Mission Board.
