South Carolina Baptist Ministries for Aging seeking new logo design

The Baptist Courier

South Carolina Baptist Ministries for the Aging is looking for a new logo that will accurately portray the organization’s mission as a “Christ-centered” community.

To that end, SCBMA president Richard McLawhorn is inviting South Carolina Baptists to share with him ideas and designs for a new logo.

“Not only is this a witness to others about Jesus Christ, but it is also a reminder to ourselves about who we are, who we represent, and therefore the values we should hold and exhibit as we work and live,” McLawhorn said.

“I want us to have a logo that’s so focused on Jesus Christ that, after we use it everywhere, everybody’s going to know who we are and what we’re about. This is not just window dressing. It is a witness to Christ.”

McLawhorn said he is interested in seeing logo ideas in words or drawings, or both.

To suggest an idea for the new logo, write to: Richard McLawhorn, SCBMA, 190 Stoneridge Dr., Columbia, S.C., 29210-8254. Submissions are due by Nov. 1.
