Rod Elliott

ROD ELLIOTT began serving Oct. 1 as senior pastor of Kelleytown Baptist Church, Hartsville. He previously was pastor of Salem Baptist Church, Saluda. A former human resource manager, Elliott is a graduate of USC-Aiken and Southeastern Baptist Seminary. He is pursuing a doctorate at Southern Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Tina have three children: Seth, Mark and John.

 

 

 

 

 

 

BRYON McINTYRE began duties Aug. 27 as minister of students at Northwood Baptist Church, Greer. He is a 2006 graduate of Southwestern Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Trayce have three children: Rebekah, 7; Kiely, 2; and Ian, 1.

 

CHRISTOPHER GRAY was ordained as a deacon Oct. 8 by Hopewell First Baptist Church, Hampton. He and his wife Marsha have three children.

 

WALTER PYM began duties Aug. 14 as associate pastor of children/youth and outreach at Bellview Baptist Church, Woodruff. A graduate of North Greenville University, he previously was youth minister at Chappells Baptist Church, Reedy River Association, and is pursuing a master of Christian ministry degree from North Greenville University’s T. Walter Brashier Graduate School.

 

Scott Linnerud

SCOTT LINNERUD began duties July 9 as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Spartanburg. Since 2003, he had been associate pastor and minister of education at First Baptist, Boiling Springs, after pastorates in Michigan and Illinois. He is a graduate of Northland Baptist Bible College and Detroit Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Barb have two sons and two daughters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Aron Winn

ARON WINN, a member of Nixville Baptist Church, was ordained to the ministry Aug. 27 by Scotia Baptist Church, Allendale-Hampton Association. Winn was licensed to preach by Nixville and is serving bivocationally at Scotia, which officially reopened March 5 after having been closed for five years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ronnie Rogers

RONNIE ROGERS began duties Sept. 17 as part-time music director at Elim Baptist Church, Effingham. Elim is a member of Florence Baptist Association.
