Chris Yeargin

CHRIS YEARGIN began duties Dec. 31 as pastor at Ridge Spring Baptist Church, Ridge Spring. He is a 2003 graduate of Southwestern Seminary. Yeargin and his wife Marcia previously served Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Keller, Tex.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WILLIAM KING began duties Jan. 8 as senior pastor of Beverly Hills Baptist Church, Asheville. He is a native of Belton and was reared in Greenville. He previously served as pastor of Leawood Baptist Church in Greenville for eight years.

 

Randall Hatcher

RANDALL HATCHER began duties Dec. 3, 2006, as pastor of Park Baptist Church, Rock Hill. He previously was pastor of Tega Cay Baptist Church, Fort Mill. He is a graduate of George Mason University and Southwestern Seminary. He and his wife Christina have two daughters: Madison, 8; and Courtney, 6.

 

 

 

 

 

 

DOUGLAS DIXON began duties Jan. 7, as pastor of St. Matthews Baptist Church, St. George. He was an assistant pastor at South Norfolk Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Va. He was ordained by Malvern Hill Baptist Church, Camden, and licensed by South Norfolk Baptist Church. A graduate of Columbia International University, he will graduate in December 2008 from Southeastern Seminary. He and his wife Leslie Ann have one daughter, Anna Elizabeth.

 

Jonathan Raffini

JONATHAN RAFFINI was ordained to the ministry Jan. 21 by Concord Baptist Church, Anderson. He is a graduate of New Orleans Seminary. He and his wife Rebekah will work through the North American Mission Board as Nehemiah Church Planters in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada. He has been called by Big Rock Baptist Church as minister to children and families, and Rebekah will serve as an administrative assistant for church planting in Western Canada.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Carlton Berry

CARLTON BERRY has been called as associate pastor of education and administration by First Baptist Church, Boiling Springs. He previously served seven years as minister of education at Whitesburg Baptist Church, Huntsville, Ala. He has also served churches in Arkansas, Texas and Georgia. He is a graduate of Luther Rice Seminary. He and his wife Shay have a daughter, Allison.

 

 

 

 

 

Rich McGough

RICH McGOUGH began work Jan. 29 as minister of students at Old Fort Baptist Church, Summerville. A graduate of Charleston Southern University, he is enrolled in Liberty Theological Seminary’s Distance Learning Program. He previously was minister to students at Shaw Heights Baptist Church, Sumter. He and his wife Carrie live in Ladson.

 

 

 

 

 

 

DON PEAKE began pastoral duties at Calvary Baptist Church, Clinton, Dec. 24. He and his wife Florence are from Rock Hill. They have two daughters, Kristen and Makayla.
