HENRY JOHNSON recently retired from the pulpit of West Springs Baptist Church, Pauline, where he has been pastor for the past six years. He was ordained in 1960 and has served churches in North and South Carolina for 46 years. He and his wife Georgia will live in Inman and in Unicoi, Tenn.

 

 

 

 

 

 

PAUL MOORE, who has served as pastor of Sans Souci Baptist Church, Greenville, for 14 years, will begin duties March 1 as senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Inman.

STEVEN RAGAN was ordained to the ministry Nov. 19, 2006, by Putman Baptist Church, Buffalo, where he has been minister of students since June 2004. He has also served as interim music director since September 2006. Ragan, a senior at Erskine College, plans to attend seminary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

MARGARET BOYLESTON, ministry assistant at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Cordova, was honored Jan. 13 for 25 years of service during a reception in the church fellowship hall.

 

CAMERON BYRD is the new pastor of Clear Spring Baptist Church, Simpsonville. Previously, he was pastor of Creswell Baptist Church in Jefferson, N.C. He has also served with the International Mission Board as a cross-cultural church planter in Uruguay. Byrd and his wife Stephanie have three children: Caleb, 8; Samuel, 5; and Benjamin, 20 months.
