Thank you for this day and for the simple blessings I so often overlook. You go before and behind, and I trust you to turn these circumstances into something that brings glory to you.'”

I was home sick with my son yesterday (4.17.07) and was glued to the TV set watching the day after the horrific massacre at VT. I’m a new mother and this was the first really shocking thing that has happened in our country since I became a parent. My heart can truly go out to the parents of those who lost their lives and to those who were wounded physically and mentally. I was in a state of prayer all day as I watched student after student recount their memories of that horrifying day. I know that God can heal if we allow Him to. I’m praying that through this someone will come to know Jesus in a very personal way. I pray that parents and students look to God for support and a means of healing. I pray that they seek out Godly counsel during this time.
