CHRIS BUTLER began duties April 1 as student ministry associate at Lexington Baptist Church, Lexington. He had previously served at Lexington as a summer intern and returned after serving as minister of students and outreach at First Baptist Church, Liberty. A graduate of Anderson University, Butler and his wife Kelley have one son, Eli.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BETTY GOODWIN has recently joined the staff at Clear Spring Baptist Church, Simpsonville. She is a lifelong member of Clear Spring and has served as a volunteer with children, youth and handbell choirs in the past.

 

BARRY WILSON has resigned after nine years as minister of music at Kilbourne Park Baptist Church, Columbia. He will be leading The Doxology Institute, a missional ministry to the artistic community based in the Midlands. EDDIE COOPER began duties June 10 as pastor at Apalache Baptist Church, Greer. Cooper has been pastor at Arrowwood Baptist Church, Chesnee, for the past 17 years.

Kimberlee Duncan

KIMBERLEE DUNCAN and AMANDA SUNDBERG have joined the staff of Lexington Baptist Church, Lexington. Duncan began duties June 1 as children’s ministry associate. She graduated from New Orleans Baptist Seminary in May, and has served as assistant teacher at the seminary Preschool Education Center in New Orleans, camp staffer at LifeWay’s Centri-Kid Camp, and semester missionary to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home. Amanda Sundberg will serve as a summer intern.
