Marvin Randall “Randy” Knight, 46, pastor of Providence Baptist Church, Kershaw, died July 16, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital, Greenville, after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Monroe, N.C., he was a graduate of Southeastern Seminary and Fruitland Bible Institute. He also held a bachelor of general studies degree from New Orleans Seminary and an associate engineering degree from York Technical College.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Broughton Knight, and two sons.
