Concerning the letter “Mindful of change” (Aug. 9 edition), Ms. Taylor addresses concerns many of us keep suppressed so as not to offend our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Within the last few years, we have attempted to “provide a little something for everyone.” Sometimes the best of intentions reaps subtle discord. Change is inevitable, but the church must be steadfast. Dwindling church attendance may possibly be traced to too much “show” and not enough “substance.”
