Anderson University has risen yet again in the Top Tier of the U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges ranking. In the 2008 list, Anderson moves up 10 spots to #34 among colleges and universities in the South. Additionally, Anderson made the honor roll for southern baccalaureate institutions whose graduates leave with the least amount of educational debt (#12).

“These rankings continue to communicate two very important characteristics of our institution,” said AU president Evans Whitaker, “quality and affordability.”

This year’s ranking marks the third straight year AU has remained in the “top tier” after debuting there in 2005.

Anderson University was named to the top tier of comprehensive colleges in the South by U.S. News and World Report for 2007, and was selected as one of America’s 136 Best Colleges by The Princeton Review for 2007.
