Kyle Waddell

KYLE WADDELL is the new pastor of Pine Level Baptist Church, Grays. He is completing his last semester at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute. Ordained to the ministry by his home church, Calvary Baptist in Rock Hill, he been youth minister at Riverside Baptist Church, Greer, for the past two years. Before that, he was an associate pastor in Kentucky. He has been active in the Awana and prison farm ministries. Waddell and his wife Amy have been on several home and foreign mission trips. They are the parents of three children: Emily, 13; Kyle Jr., 10; and Alex, 9.

 

 

 

 

 

PAUL REITZER, former history professor and head of the social science division at Charleston Southern University, was elected president of the Fellowship of Baptist Educators at the recent board of directors meeting in Kentucky. The fellowship is an association of missions-minded laymen from various North American Baptist unions who gather and send some 1,800 boxes of Christian literature around the world, sponsor a pen-pal ministry for young people to correspond with other young people in foreign countries (Christian Corresponders), and work with the International Mission Board to arrange short-term mission trips for Americans to use their teaching skills abroad.

 

 

JAMIE HAMMETT has been called as director of student ministries by North Conway Baptist Church, Waccamaw Baptist Association.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Angie Vickery

ANGIE VICKERY began duties Aug. 12 as minister of music at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Williamston. She is a native of Williamston and a graduate of Converse College. She and her husband Chad have two children, Hannah and Grayson.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Todd Polatty

TODD POLATTY began duties Aug. 19 as senior pastor of Coronaca Baptist Church, Greenwood. He is a graduate of Erskine College and Southeastern Baptist Seminary. Polatty and his wife Alla have two children, Andrew and Elizabeth.
