Erik ShamblinERIK SHAMBLIN has been called as minister of worship and music at Old Fort Baptist Church, Summerville. A graduate of Charleston Southern University, Shamblin has previously served in North Carolina and as minister of students at Old Fort. He and his wife Kelley have three children: Jacob, Kristen Grace, and Luke.
THE SECOND annual Moriah Baptist Association prayerwalk, sponsored by the WMU, was held Aug. 18. Four Moriah association churches were represented as a group of 20 assembled at Lancaster High School to pray for students, teachers and administrators. The next stop was North Middle School, where a prayer of success was given that schools would be more diligent in preparing students with an education, then continued on to First Presbyterian Church, where prayer was for all churches in Lancaster County. The walk concluded at the Lancaster County Administration Building as the group prayed for our county, state and nation.
