Terry CorderTerry Corder, pastor of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson, will allow his name to be?placed into nomination?for the office of registration secretary of the South Carolina Baptist Convention at the annual meeting convenes in Florence, Nov. 13-14.
Corder, who was a member of the SCBC Executive Board from 2001 to 2006, is currently serving as Sunday school director for Kershaw Baptist Association. A graduate of Anderson College, Clemson University, and Southeastern Baptist Seminary, he previously was pastor of Rawlinson Road Baptist Church, Rock Hill.
Corder will be nominated by Bill Curtis, pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Florence, and chairman of the North American Mission Board’s trustees. As of Oct. 8, no other persons have been announced as nominees for registration secretary.
