Youth Alive was held Oct. 20 at Charleston Southern University. Activities of the annual event included praise and worship time led by Jonathan Phillips and his band from North Spartanburg First Baptist Church. Personal testimonies were given by Richard Thom, a Liberty University football player, and freshman CSU football player C.J. Dancy. Dancy, pictured at right, shared about a severe injury he received during a home game and the emergency surgery which “saved his life.” The CSU vs. Liberty game followed lunch.
