Southern Baptist Convention president Frank Page will author “The Nehemiah Factor,” scheduled for a June 2008 release in time for the 2008 convention in Indianapolis. The book will focus on 16 characteristics of a missional leader.

“While there are many books on leadership, there are few from a spiritual perspective, and none of which use Nehemiah as a case study,” stated Page.
Encouraged by several friends to write the book, Page specifically wants this book and the case study of the Old Testament character Nehemiah to speak to today’s leaders about the issue of spiritual fruitfulness.
“I wish for people to study the life of Nehemiah to help them realize that they can be missional leaders regardless of their personality type or style,” he commented. “I hope and pray people will see that spiritual fruit must be exhibited in the life of a missional leader.”
“Our desire is to publish books that challenge believers to not only understand the mission of God but to be radically involved in his mission,” stated Andrea Mullins, publisher, New Hope Publishers. “The Nehemiah Factor and Dr. Page’s personal testimony support our publishing strategy and commitment to today’s leaders. We are prayerful that Dr. Page and this book will challenge believers to understand God’s call to missional leadership.”
National WMU has confirmed that Page will attend a book launch event during its missions celebration and annual meeting in Indianapolis, June 8-9, 2008, just prior to the Southern Baptist Convention. Page will share insight on missional leadership from The Nehemiah Factor in a keynote address.
