To all pastors and attendees who came to the Pastor’s Conference in Florence I would like to say: You made a difference! You made a difference when you invited the Gideons of South Carolina to participate in your South Carolina Baptist Pastor’s Conference, allowing us to share in the blessings of your eventful day; when you invited Elliott Osowitt to share his salvation testimony, one that highlights the important partnership between the work of the Gideons and local pastors; and when you raised $9,058 with your generous offerings.
The Lord gave us all an added blessing when Bobby Welch shared his Gideon-touched salvation testimony as well. It reminded me of the recent news that at least 160 pastors in Japan claim to have accepted Christ after having read a scripture presented or placed through the Gideon ministry.
Thank you for your ongoing prayers for the Lord’s hand in this soul-winning ministry. Thank you for the men that you, as pastors, endorse to become our members. Thank you for not only this offering, but for all offerings that are generously shared in a ministry where all funds go directly toward the printing and distribution of the word of God. With a goal of 72,500,000 scriptures this fiscal year, this Pastor’s Conference offering will make a big difference.
I was blessed by the powerful preaching and by the words of encouragement that essentially says to all Gideons across South Carolina, “Keep on, keeping on!”
Thank you, Danny Burnley, for bringing the Gideons into your successful Pastor’s Conference. I praise the Lord for the creative insight that brought us together.
Even as you pray for us, we continue to pray for you!
