RANDY MELLICHAMP has accepted the call as pastor of Camp Creek Baptist Church, Lancaster. He previously was pastor of Harmony Baptist Church, Edgemoor. A graduate of Charleston Southern University, he currently attends Liberty University. Mellichamp and his wife Michelle have two sons, Nathan, 9, and Andrew, 4. They are awaiting the birth of a third son in January 2008.

TY CHILDERS has been called as pastor by Fairview Baptist Church, Spartanburg. Childers has been in the ministry for 25 years and most recently served as senior pastor of Chiquola Baptist Church, Honea Path. He is a graduate of Fruitland Bible College and Andersonville Theological Seminary. He is a native of Spartanburg. Childers and his wife, the former Janice Jonas, have three children: Jonathan, Travis and Anna.
BEN ROGERS retired in November from the pastorate of Hunt’s Memorial Baptist Church, Easley, where he had served since August 2006. This was the third time he was pastor at Hunt’s Memorial. He first served there in the early 1980s, and was interim for a few months in 2004. Rogers had been in the ministry for more than 40 years, serving churches in Virginia and South Carolina. Rogers and his wife Judy have two children and two grandchildren.

NICHOLAS KING recently began serving as pastor of White Plains Baptist Church, Gaffney. He previously served churches in North Carolina. King holds a bachelor’s degree from Wingate University. He and his wife Krista have two daughters, Madeline, 6, and Lydia, 1.

BOBBY CABLE is the new pastor at Woodfield Park Baptist Church, Columbia. His previous pastorates included Beaverdam Baptist Church and Fairview Baptist Church, both in Gaffney. He is a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and North Greenville University. He served as moderator for Broad River Association. He and his wife Shelley have two daughters, Virginia, 12, and Dakota, 8.

CURTIS MARSHALL has been called as pastor of First Baptist Church, Cross Hill. Marshall previously served for nine years at Orrs Baptist Church, Chester. He is a graduate of Carson-Newman College, Wayne State University and Erskine Theological Seminary. He and his wife Joan have a married daughter and two grandchildren.

DAVID REVELLE is the new administrative pastor at Millbrook Baptist Church, Aiken. A graduate of Covington Theological Seminary, he and his wife Julie have a daughter, Beth.
