Dina Hair, a longtime staff member at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Community, has been named administrator of the Laurens facility.

She is pictured with Richard McLawhorn, president of South Carolina Baptist Ministries for the Aging.Hair has worked at Martha Franks for more than 22 years in a variety of positions, most recently as director of resident services and community relations. She was previously licensed to supervise the assisted living part of the ministry and recently passed the federal and state nursing home licensing examinations.
“Dina brings faith in Jesus Christ, love for senior adults, and a commitment to Martha Franks and our overall ministry to her new position,” said Richard McLawhorn, president of South Carolina Baptist Ministries for the Aging. “I am so glad to have her as a member of the leadership team for SCBMA.”
Hair succeeds Paul Alverson, who was serving as interim administrator at Martha Franks.
Hair earned a B.S. in psychology from Presbyterian College and an M.Ed. in counseling from Clemson University.
She is a member of First Baptist, Joanna, where she teaches Sunday school.
