Ron JacksonRON JACKSON retired from the pulpit Dec. 30 at East Gaffney Baptist Church, Gaffney, where he had served for more than 18 years. On his retirement, he was named pastor emeritus. Other churches Jackson served during his more than 41-year ministry include Bethel Baptist, Charleston; Rock Hill Baptist, Inman; and First Baptist, Bremen, Ga. Jackson and his wife Karen will continue to live in Gaffney.
JOE WHITE began duties as pastor of West Springs Baptist Church, Pauline, in November. He is a native of Greer and a graduate of North Greenville University. Previously, he was pastor of Lake Cooley Baptist Church, Wellford, for 11 years. White and his wife Vicki have one son, Logan, 8.
Rusty BrockRUSTY BROCK began duties Jan. 6 as senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Clemson. Brock, former senior minister at Northwest Baptist Church in Ardmore, Okla., is a graduate of Mercer University and Southern Baptist Seminary. He earned a doctor of ministry degree from the Baptist Seminary in Richmond. Brock previously served as pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Ga., and as a Cooperative Baptist Fellowship missionary. Brock and his wife Kerry have two children, Peyton, 8, and Kathryn, 3.
