Lois Cherry Long, 74, of Duncan, died Jan. 24, 2008, at Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg.
A native of Dothan, Ala., she was the wife of Gideon M. Long Jr., interim pastor of Philadelphia Baptist Church, Pauline, and longtime pastor of First Baptist Church, Lyman.
She was a retired secretary for James F. Byrnes High School and a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, four children and six grandchildren.
