North Greenville University and GreenvilleConnect – a non-denominational alliance of churches, ministry organizations along with business and community leaders committed to cooperating to encourage evangelism and discipleship – are joining forces for an “Equipping Ministries Conference” March 31 on the NGU campus.

The conference, which targets persons serving in a church or other form of service ministry, is considered a “first” of its kind for comprehensive ministry training in Greenville County, according to Lance Renault with GreenvilleConnect.
Participants will select any four of 16 one-hour workshops offered, each providing practical strategies for strengthening Christian ministries.
Categories of conferences are leadership and administration, outreach, and congregational and church development – with topics including finding and developing leaders in ministry, Internet and technology for the church, workplace ministry, and equipping congregations for evangelism.
Jimmy Epting, president of North Greenville University, will deliver the keynote address at the 9 a.m. opening session, following registration beginning at 8 a.m. The conference runs until 4:30 p.m. and costs $37 per person.
