Anderson University students answer call to summer missions

More than 140 Anderson University students are serving both at home and abroad – traveling to Arizona and Yellowstone National Park, and to China, India, Mexico, Nepal and Tanzania. Activities include serving as counselors in the MFuge and Centrifuge summer camps to church planting with the North American Mission Board to traveling with Kids’ Connection, an SCBC program to assist small churches that do not have a children’s staff.

“I am so excited about what God is doing through our students here at AU through missions to the nations,” said Russ Bennett, associate campus minister. “With more than 140 students serving internationally and domestically this summer, God is calling out a new generation of students who prove their convictions with action. My prayer is that God will change the nations this summer through our students and send them back to AU to live missional lifestyles that will change our home hub of Anderson.”
