MT. OLIVE BAPTIST CHURCH, Laurens Baptist Association, celebrated “Christmas in July” on July 20. Members contributed food items and money to benefit the crisis center. The children who attended Vacation Bible School also brought food items and money each night. About 400 pounds of food and a total of $850.25 were collected.

He previously served as interim minister of music at Philadelphia Baptist Church, Pauline, and was a member of Radiance Performing Choir while at Anderson University.

He was ordained in 2003 by Brushy Creek Baptist Church, Easley, and has served in various ministry positions throughout the Upstate. He and his wife Bonnie have two children, Elizabeth and Connor.
