Recently the Courier reported the final report of the 2008 Committee on Committees. As state convention president, I had the honor and privilege of appointing this committee in 2007. This committee was comprised of:
Rudy Gray, chairman; Randy Keasler, vice chairman; Wayne Dickard; Steve Morgan; Brian Saxon; Hal West; Sonny Holmes; Mrs. Laverne Burnley; Von Reynolds; Joe White Sr.; Fred Stone; Archie Evans; Mrs. Betty Spradley; Tim Coker; and Thomas Kelley.
So often those behind the scenes are overlooked. I wanted to publicly express my gratitude to Dr. Gray and the fine members of this committee for their willingness to serve our convention in this endeavor and for the long hours and miles traveled. They worked diligently, giving thoughtful and prayerful consideration to every nominee. Job well done!
