CHRISTOPHER RYAN SMITH was ordained to the ministry Oct. 19 by Homeland Park Baptist Church, Anderson, where he is minister of youth and children. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Smith of Anderson and is majoring in religion at North Greenville University.
Doyl McMurryDOYL McMURRY is serving as minister to students at Providence Baptist Church, Pageland. He is a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Tex., and Southwestern Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Robin have two daughters.
Scott ParmenterSCOTT PARMENTER is minister of worship at Providence Baptist Church, Pageland. Parmenter was ordained to the ministry by Providence in September. He began work in the ministry in 1985, leading worship at Trinity Baptist of Athens, Greece. Parmenter is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He and his wife Angie have three adult children.
