2009 South Asia Service Opportunities

God is at work in South Asia. As South Carolina enters the final year of our partnership, learn about the 2009 projects and ways that you can pray for South Asia.

The South Asia region is made up of the countries of Bhutan, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives, and Pakistan. One fourth of the world’s lost population live in these countries. There are several ways that you can participate in the partnership.

Pray for plans that are being made for the partnership; pray for the more than 1,000 unreached people groups of South Asia; pray for volunteers to respond to the invitation to participate in the 2009 projects.

Project dates for 2009 are listed at right. Pray about participating in a project such as scripture distribution, prayerwalking,?leadership training,?and personal evangelism. Approximate cost of a two-week project is $2,700 (including round-trip airfare, lodging, meals, insurance, visa, and in-country transportation). Dates are subject to change within a day or two based on flight schedules.
