Michael RoyalMICHAEL ROYAL is the new pastor of Eastside Baptist Church, Spartanburg. Previously, he was associate pastor and student minister at Miles Road Baptist Church, Summerville, for 17 years. A graduate of Liberty University and Covington Seminary, he is pursuing a master of religious education degree through Liberty Theological Seminary. Royal and his wife Tonya have three sons: Caleb, 14; Nicholas, 12; and Tyler, 11.
Trenton ConnellyTRENTON CONNELLY has been called as pastor of Enoree Baptist Church, Travelers Rest. Connelly retired from Prater’s Creek Baptist Church, Pickens, in 2003 and has served Enoree as interim pastor since September 2008.
Virginia HallVIRGINIA HALL has been called as music director at Trinity Way Baptist Church, Greenville. A graduate of USC, she is working on her doctorate in education. She is a professor of music history and initiator of the Greenville Tech Singers and has taught music at Gaffney High School, Oakbrook Middle School and in Dorchester District Two. Hall also served as choral director at Earlwood Baptist Church, Columbia.
