WMU announces nominees for its executive board, nominating committee

Woman’s Missionary Union, Auxiliary to South Carolina Baptist Convention, has announced the 2009-10 nominees for its executive board positions and the 2010 nominees for nominating committee positions.

The South Carolina WMU executive board manages the business of the organization during the year. Election of board members will take place March 27 during the WMU annual meeting at Alice Drive Baptist Church in Sumter.

Nominations for the executive board are made by the nominating committee, also elected at the WMU annual meeting. The committee considers involvement in WMU on the state, associational, and local level when making selections.
