Mike Edens

MIKE EDENS is the new pastor of Palmetto Baptist Church, Boiling Springs. Edens and his wife Marsha have two sons, Isaac and Caleb.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ralph Jett

RALPH JETT began duties May 10 as pastor of Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church, Pacolet Mills. Previously, he had served as pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, Campobello, since April 2005. Jett is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University and Southeastern Baptist Seminary. His wife, the former Sherry Henson, is the daughter of Louise Henson and the late James Henson, former pastor of Brown’s Chapel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

JAMES WILLIAMS joined the staff of Jones Avenue Baptist Church, Easley, on May 4 as minister of children/youth and family life center. He received an associate of arts degree in Christian studies from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and is working on a bachelors of arts degree in Christian studies at North Greenville University. Williams has served as an intern for the past three years at another Easley church.

 

 

Jonathan Weaver

JONATHAN WEAVER, who has served as associate pastor of Palmetto Baptist Church, Boiling Springs, since 2006, has been called to the ministry. He is attending North Greenville University.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Greg Dover

GREG DOVER will begin duties June 9 as the associate pastor of Earle Street Baptist Church, Greenville. He graduated with honors from Furman University in 2005 and received the master of divinity degree from Wake Forest Divinity School on May 18. He will marry Suzy Clanton on May 30. Both are from Greenville. She is a graduate of Clemson University and a public school teacher. Marshall Sargent has served as Earle Street’s interim associate pastor.
