Boyce W. “Buddy” Wiles Jr., 70, of Hodges, a long-serving pastor, died May 14, 2009, at Emory University Midtown, Atlanta, Ga.
Born June 15, 1938, “Preacher Buddy,” as he was known to many, held a doctor of theology degree and pastored churches in South Carolina and Tennessee for more than 40 years.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elsie “Dixie” Martin Wiles, three sons and seven grandchildren.
