The Springmaid Beach Resort and Conference Center at Myrtle Beach is the site for the 2009 fall retreat for senior adults.As many as 500 senior adults representing more than 30 churches are gearing up for the annual fall Springmaid Senior Retreat at Myrtle Beach.
Scheduled for Sept. 28-Oct. 2, the retreat will feature music, preaching, comedy and buffet dining. Free time is included for shopping, golfing and attending local shows.
“I do my best to see that everyone gets a blessing from the retreat and has a good time,” said organizer Clyde Porter, a member of Washington Baptist Church, Pelzer.
