Ben McLaughlinBEN McLAUGHLIN was recently called as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Lake City. A native of Florence County and a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute, he previously served as pastor of students and missions at Philippi Baptist Church. He and his wife Michelle live in Effingham with their two children, Hunter and Emma Kate.
Gayle TaylorGAYLE TAYLOR was recognized by Providence Baptist Church, Pageland, for 30 years of service as church secretary. She has worked with four different pastors during her time at Providence.
Katharine WilsonKATHARINE WILSON was recognized on Aug. 30 in honor of her 100th birthday by West Side Baptist Church, West Columbia. A native of North, she and her husband Norman, who served in the armed forces, lived in New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C., before returning to Cayce. She taught boys and girls Sunday school, GAs, and senior adult ladies Sunday school, and was also active in WMU.
