Pauline Wooten Center, 82, of Kings Mountain, N.C., wife of former South Carolina pastor Ansel Center Jr., died June 26, 2009, at her home.
She was a native of Greenville County.
Her husband formerly served at Mt. Whitaker Baptist Church in Blacksburg and Spring Street Baptist Church in Greer. His most recent pastorate was Piedmont Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, N.C.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three children, seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
