G.W. AllenG.W. ALLEN (first photo) retired as homebound minister of City View First Baptist Church, Greenville, after 22 years of service. He was given the honorary title of homebound minister emeritus at City View First Baptist. C.W. Jones (second photo) has now joined the staff as homebound minister.
Brian PrestonBRIAN PRESTON has been called as pastor of Bush River Baptist Church, Newberry. He is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University and Southern Baptist Seminary. Preston and his wife Jillian, a native of Anderson, have a 2-year-old son and a newborn daughter.
PATRICK BLACKMON has been called as full-time minister at Trinity Baptist Church, Great Falls. A graduate of Georgia College and State University, he comes to Trinity from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, Ga.
WILLIAM PETERS was called on Oct. 18 as pastor of Jamestown Baptist Church, Conway. He is a graduate of Carson-Newman College and Southeastern Baptist Seminary. Peterson previously served as pastor for 19 years at Bethel Baptist Church, Prosperity, and prior to that was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserve for nine years. He and his wife Rosemary have two daughters, Angela and Rebecca.
CROSSWELL BAPTIST CHURCH, Sumter, has called Nathan Timmons as part-time youth minister and Cameron Wilson as full-time children’s minister.
